Hypothetical? If you won the lottery when it was 1.5 Billion would you...

Donate 50 million to pay players NIL money? Would you make it performance based? Would you make it a yearly contract? Would your fund have a payment for every player? Would it be for every sport?
I am at work and just daydreaming, but these questions ran through my mind. If I was in that situation, I would like to think I would donate some, would have to ask the boss about the amount! But I would like to think I would help each sport some.

I'd buy a uhaul truck.
Paint on the side that I Won a billion dollars but ain't giving anything to iptay for keeping me in top deck north for 20 years.
Then pay a hobo to drive it by Davis Babb's window every 15 mins.

No…but I might create some scholarships to help kids go to college (Clemson or anywhere else really) and not be saddled with crushing debt when they come out. That would do more to help society than paying kids to play a sport IMO.

100,000 of them with only a $15,000 scholarship, your $1.5B is gone in one year.
The way to actually help people afford college is get the government out of the student loan business and force universities to lower their prices back down to reasonable levels. "Easy money" led universities to raise costs WAY above inflation, because, why not?

Ha…well I was thinking more like 25 kids a year…not gonna change the world, but might make life a little easier for some. Even though the jackpot was $1.5B…lump sum after taxes would be roughly $300M…I don’t want to get too crazy.

Don't know if you can put requirements on money donated to NIL

maybe large sums of money idk. But if you could, I would make it academic based. The players would get it if they graduate from Clemson and not some other school. So it would be sort of a trust fund or maybe it could be a half now, half later thing.

Under that scenario, I'm #### sure hope NIL would be way down the list of things I'm donating to.

I’d short the NCAA + middle-tier & below college programs.
