Great game last night. From someone who was there,

Let me discuss the crowd for you. Yes there didn’t seem to be a lot of people there but . . . It was a Sunday night and still first round, I imagine some travel better. But specifically to the seats behind the players . . . There were four teams playing last night and obviously each school had a section. Clemson faithful were seated opposite of our players. Baylor fans on other side. When Houston and Texas A and M fans started filing in, one of those teams fans were behind our bench. I’m not saying it was great but I’m not sure it was as bad as people thought. As for fouls, you probably saw what I saw only more magnified. It really wasn’t that poorly called of a game. The wrong call on PJ took him out of the game at a crucial time but then when they took the foul away from him it gave him more time to be out there and he was rested. There were two calls on him where the player just flopped and he didn’t foul them. But, when you play as physical as he does it’s going to happen. The thing I was most impressed with was our defense. They held a great offensive team, especially in the first half. We had fewer turnovers at least subjectively than some of the games I’ve watched. A couple bad passes like that one obviously trying to look good when a simple pass would do but all in all one of the better games I’ve watched us play. I guess that’s the status of fans anymore but we were surrounded by Baylor fans and many of them were obnoxious. Complaining when refs called it out on them when it was obvious, complaining of no foul when PJ obviously had all ball. Thankfully couldn’t say much as we lead the entire time. And great finish. As opposed to some games we are up by more than 10 and lose, yes it got close but rather than relying on luck or them missing the final shot, we put it away.

I was really confused by the empty section behind our bench but someone else explained to me how the tickets worked. It's unfortunate because some people may think that we have zero fan support. But I guess they sell tickets for the entire day session as opposed to each individual game? You would think they would just sell them for each game and then clear the arena and let the fans of each team sit behind their bench.

Yes, tickets are sold for each 'session,' meaning 2 games.***

If the old judge really cared, he would have been in Memphis.
At this point he is either a shill or a coot, but either way he is pitiful.

money to go to Memphis on quick notice for a game? That's an enormously high standard that only about 300-400 Clemson fans probably did this weekend, not counting the ones that happen to live within a short drive from there.

Wouldn’t have made it but Memphis is only about 2:40 mins away. It was a very fun basketball game, especially since we won. But I imagine a fan of basketball (not Baylor fan per se) would also enjoy.

whose physical condition makes attending ANY live sports event a thing of the past, it is as close as I will ever again get. Basketball, especially, given the rarity of our post season success, must have been a joyful atmosphere when the final buzzer sounded!
Even moreso because, as I waited for all game long, Baylor DID make a run at the end, and if the free throw situation was reversed, the game would have had a different outcome. We made ours, and they missed theirs. That is even more gratifying, because older Tigers like me remember that POOR free throw shooting cost Clemson games in some of our previous post season appearances. We used to be (ingloriously) KNOWN for it! In ACC games back in the day, it seemed like Duke and North Carolina would always be like 28 of 29 from the line, and Clemson would be like 7 of 15. (The calls were skewed against us, and the fact that we missed ours would make the final margin even wider.)

The main Camera shots were all toward the bench side of the court. The seats behind the Clemson bench were for Houston. Rarely did they do a camera shot of Clemson crowd except for the fans with chef hats.
