Remember Dabo's statement, "We all know how this is going to end up."

We don't know the details. We don't know the path. We don't know the timeline.

But, we do know this (or at least we can be pretty darn sure that when the dust settles this is what it will look like):

1. 48 to 64 teams will set up some sort of separate division in college football. There will no longer be 130 or so teams in the "top level" of college football.
2. This "superconference" of football will set up their own set of rules and regulations where players will be paid, probably as employees of the universities.
3. The majority of these teams will come from the SEC and B1G.

So, it makes sense these two conferences would be taking the lead by holding discussions concerning
A. Which teams will be included and which ones won't.
B. Who will be the governing body.

When I see all these youtube videos and twitter posts about how this is all gonna end up I immediately think, "I might listen to them for entertainment purposes, but I'm not believing they have any information more specific than what I just listed above. And, virtually everybody agrees with what I wrote above so there is nothing special about that."

When this happens, do they keep teams like Vandy and USuCk?

I mean Vandy's good in baseball and the coots have racist women's basketball, but c'mon. They're both pathetic jokes in the Football.

Don't ask me the details. I'd just be guessing.

I don't which teams will be included with regards to SEC and B1G omitting some of their schools (maybe by choice - would Vanderbilt even want to compete in that group?)

I'm assuming FSU and Clemson will be included, but I'm not even sure about that.

I think FSU has a better chance- bigger market and better recruiting area. Bigger school, more $.

Can you imagine North Carolina wanting in that super conference but has a tiny 51,000 seat stadium? Or FSU only 65,000??? If the Noles go with the B1G that would probably be enough seats as the northerners don't travel and they wouldn't have as exciting a schedule as with the SEC schools. If they go SEC they won't be able to meet ticket demand and that's a fact.

Yeah because no SEC teams have football stadiums that seat less than 65,000. Oh wait.

Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Ole Miss: 64,038
Faurot Field, Mizzou: 61,620
Davis Wade Stadium, Mississippi State: 61,337
Kroger Field, Kentucky: 61,000
FirstBank Stadium, Vanderbilt: 40,350
