Unfortunately, her body language at the plate is showing a lack of confidence. Her stance is not as open as it has been when she was hitting well.

Well, in my opinion, her stance does need to be closed because for some reason she seems to refuse to get closer to the plate while hitting.

If the opposing teams constantly pitch you outside, you have to adjust by inching closer to the plate so you can connect with more force.

She’s not the only one on the team with this mentality of not adjusting, though.

Sometimes you need to adjust where you stand, how you to grip the bat, and where to start your bat pre swing.
