The only scenario this would even matter would be if cops were there to tell him that. That said, a single cop says to stop, GD you better stop or you deal with not stopping.
Fairly cut and dry IMO. This may very well just go away because of how high profile it is. It may be that the piggie was overzealous and they just drop it. If so, so be it.

Just the other week some cop kicked a guys car and got his leg busted up, only thing that kept the driver out of jail was a dash cam video of the cop doing it.
The fun part will be seeing what kind of PD we're dealing with here, are they going to double down on idiocy or see the light and humble themselves? Could go either way.

That officer was just doing his job at a death investigation, he could have also been killed. Ts and Ps for his mental health going forward, that was a close call.

Louisville PD does not have a good reputation. Scottie Scheffler does.
Hopefully there is body cam footage to show what happened.
None of us knows the facts at this point.
If the events are as the police state, then Scheffler should face the consequences. If the cop was over zealous, then the cop should be disciplined.
Unless any of you personally know Scheffler, spare us all the entitled accusation. Jim Gray characterizes Scheffler as an “humble, gracious guy,”—he’s no Patrick Reed.
We don’t know what we don’t know. Let the chips fall where they may,
I personally had a cop get extremely aggressive with me and accusing me of impeding an ambulance which was total BS.
Let’s wait on all the facts before trashing a guy with a good reputation, but if he truly assaulted a cop and openly defied the cop, he needs to face the consequences.
