Why aren't fans writing ESPN?

As subscribers and general consumers of the product why aren't fans of the teams who want a more favorable outcome writing the network?Shouldn't one of their considerations be how expansion will effect subscriptions in the long term? Shouldn't they be reminded that being responsible in part for damaging a person's beloved football program will inspire cancellation and boycott of sponsors?

I don’t think they’d care honestly. The schools they broadcast represent the bulk of the viewership, so they don’t really care if they lose some of the smaller markets regardless of how passionate the fan base is

they don't give a crap how they get there money as long as they get there money. I know what you are saying but ESPN does not care about there subscribers. You know how i know that is because they used to make it 1 dollar a subscriber now it is 10.00 per subscriber. All they want to do is suck us dry. What they really need to do is change there business model and lay off a bunch of there top executives because all they are are mosquitoes. What ESPN really needs is some good competition but right now they are buying them all up. ESPN conglomerate with FOX Discovery and Warner Bothers needs to be stopped. This will drive up prices even more not making sports any better just making a bunch of CEO and executives very very rich. Sports and Business both thrive on competition now espn is scared of it.

Disney does not care nor fear a boycott or what the average person thinks. They wouldn't be pushing trans and queer into Buzz Lightyear stories if they did.
You can be mad at them and think you have a say because you spend $10 a month with them, but unless you're stroking an eight-figure check, your input means nothing to them.

Because that's mostly about venting. Fans can always find an avenue to vent. Even here , where lending an helpful ear is abundant

Google largest alumni and student body in NCAA. It will explain a lot of what ESPN/B1G/SEC do. Rutgers is a horrible product that doesn't belong on the national scene but a lot of people went to Rutgers.

What makes no sense is that Rutgers grads don't watch or care about football.
Rutgers = Big Hat and No Cattle. People tune into watch football schools play, not horrible big schools play football.
I would kick Put-gers out of the BIG in a NY minute.

They got you by the balls. You should see what these cable subscribers have to pay ESPN per subscriber, whether they watch it or not. Of course they pass that off on us and the cable company takes the blame. Win, win for ESPN. Somebody has to pay the SEC these millions per school.

Dear ESPN,
I am writing you to ask some questions about some very important issues as to regard of revenue payment to conferences. I agree that football brings in big money but just because we are in a basketball conference why can't we receive the same money payout as a football conference? I know we have little bitty stadiums with a much smaller attendance and viewership than the SEC and Big but why would that make a difference? Yes, I know that we have only one big conference game challenge and if we win that we will be undefeated. Just because we are in an easy conference you don't give us the same payout as the big boys? The SEC has dominated our conference in national titles but why should they get more money over a conference that wins a title once in a blue moon?? You're making a difference here. We recognize that we are trapped in a conference that doesn't support or care about football but why can't we receive the same money as one that does? This is not fair.
I'm going to the Little League meeting tonight. When the season concluded they gave the first place team a two foot high trophy. Just because my son's team finished last shouldn't keep them from receiving a two foot high trophy, too. Also, my husband works hard at the factory for a Fortune 500 company. I'm going to write them, as well, and give them a piece of my mind! They are paying the President and CEO more than my assembly line working husband. That's just not right. Everyone needs to throw a fit on ESPN, the Little League and my husband's company! They are not treating everyone the same.
