NCST playing better than anyone in the ACC currently. With the loss looks like Wake will be in the same pool of teams as Clemson in the ACC tournament. Maybe a chance of redemption for Clemson against Wake. We will see but very interesting. Wake isn’t same team away from home.

I think I agree but right now they are in our pool. Only positive is they are not as good away from home but they are a tough match up for Clemson. I think I rather have anybody other than them in our pool.

Well to be completely fair, Wake does seem to have Clemson’s number in baseball. However, Clemson couldn’t play much worse than they did against Wake last game. So yea, bring them on.

Burns had 13 KO tonight in 7 and a third innings or so. He's why I don't want to face Weak Florist. Wake will save him for us. He's got the Tennessee bug up his you know what for us. Go Tigers

Just checked the latest ACC team standings. With the lost tonight, Wake drops from our pool of teams into the next lower seeding. So right now our pool would be Miami & Louisville in our pool. That is if anyone is interested.

Louisville has already finished at 16-14 but what if Duke loses to UNC again tomorrow and finishes 16-14 and then Wake Forest salvages their series with N.C.State and they too finish 16-14,who in that 3 way tie would get the nod to be in the same pool as the Tigers?

Good pitching usually Trumps good hitting.
So the teams with the best pitchers usually win the big games . 3-2, 4-3 , 2-1 you know games like this .we don’t have nearly the pitching to keep the damage down.
