I am watching Undisputed on FS1. Anyway, not an amazing story, but I liked Keshawn Johnson's comment. He said that when left USC and went to the NFL, he thought he could do the same stuff as he could in college. He said, Levon Kirkland taught him he couldn't. He said Kirkland broke his sternum his rookie year and then he knew.

Levon was a straight up baller. I remember him making a diving interception while patrolling the middle of the secondary in a Steelers game.....at 280 lbs. That LB crew when he was at Clemson was strong - Ed McDaniel, Wayne Simmons, Ashley Sheppard.... You almost felt sorry for the offense, almost.

I met Levon at a signing at a mall in the Pittsburgh area. Never did I see a guy so thick in the chest front to back and thought with him running and hitting someone it must feel like being hit by a train.

Not only was he a great player but he was a great student as well. He sat behind me in class. Levon was there the first day and everyday providing they weren't traveling from the first day to the last. Quality person and player that represented the Tigers extremely well!
