We slayed em on day 2 yesterday!!! We caught almost all 4-6 pound catfish... a few bream were caught but we released all of them. I guess in all we kept about 10 cats. Yummy!!!

It depends on which state you put your boat in the water. SC boat ramps = Lake Thurmond. GA boat ramps = Clarks Hill.

Since GA wouldn't change the lake's name to Thurmond after SC did, years later when they extended Bobby Jones Expressway across the state line, SC named it Palmetto Expressway on this side.

Caught the most crappie of my life on a family trip there as a kid. Night fishing with lights in the water. We could have brought home a hundred plus if not for limit. Love that lake.
