Here for the opener of the final regular season ACC series for the No. 4-ranked Clemson baseball Tigers (37-13, 17-10 ACC), taking on Boston College (22-28, 8-19).
Pitching matchup: RHP John West (BC: 1-4, 5.00 ERA) vs. LHP Ethan Darden (CU: 5-3, 4.24)
Clemson looks to clinch the Atlantic Division this weekend with a 1.5-game lead on Florida State and NC State (15-11) and a two-game edge on Wake Forest (15-12). The Deacs play at NC State and FSU hosts Georgia Tech starting tonight (both 7 p.m. starts). There's also an outside chance at the No. 1 overall seed in trailing UNC by three games, who travel to Duke this week (no head-to-head meeting for the Tigers and Tar Heels, so it would come down to tiebreakers).

T1: Early visit from the pitching coach to Ethan Darden after a throwing error at SS, a single and a mishandled bunt by Darden scores a BC runner to start off the frame.

M1: 5-0 BC. Only one run was earned on Darden, but he did participate in one of the two errors. Three hits for the Eagles.

Last year they started poor then got better as year went on.
This year they started hot & now wanting to play poor at worst possible time with postseason around corner. Hope they pull the nose up quick.

T3: BC's Cameron Leary sends one deep to center field and over the wall. Darden had given up five HRs in 57 1/3 innings coming into the start, but that's two tonight already. 6-1 Eagles.
