Let’s just have fun with the starting 5 projection
C vik lahkin
PF Ian sheff
SF Chauncey Wiggins
SG Jaeden Zackery
PG Chase Hunter (if he comes back)

Then Christian Reeves and Myles Foster should come in at center and pf but I wonder if Myles foster can battle lahkin for the center spot with how long he is idk. Leave your thoughts?

Lahkin still feels like a work in progress. I think Miles will get his minutes splitting time at C and PF. How many minutes at C depends on how fast Lahkin develops.

Yea I agree I think Lahkin might not be developed a ton yet but I think he should be the starter at center but I do expect foster to get a lot of reps at center and pf

Lakhin doesnt need to be developed. Three years at Cincinnati with two years mostly as a starter. Injuries are what has slowed him down.
I think both he and foster will split starts at center depending at match ups and both plat nextcto each other a lot at the 4 and 5 position.
Think Foster can play the 3 some also especially on defense.

Foster starting? But if tall opponents are hitting shots, then the big Russian can come in to help stop then. Brownie can have good small lineup & good big lineup.

It's awesome we brought in players who can contribute, but it seems like they mostly play center/PF, so is there going to be an issue with managing playing time?

I wonder why the 3rd or 4th guy came given Schiff is returning and we already took a couple of guys at those positions.

We can go big and small. This is going to be the most versatile personnel groupings brownell has had to play with……

Hunter Hunter. Hunter/Zachary
Zachary Zachery. Heidbreder
Wiggins. Heidbreder. Wiggins
Schieff. Schieff/Foster Schieff/Foster
Lakhin. Lakhin/Foster. Lakhin/Foster

All in all I feel like we have multiple players who can play multiple roles

Hunter 1/2
Zachary 1/2
Heidbreder 2/3
Schieff 4/sometimes 5
Foster 3/4/5

Heidbreder and Foster are the 2 that will really make the lineup versatile.

I love that we can put Foster and Schieff on the floor at the same time when the other team goes small, but both of them are elite rebounders so we wouldn't necessarily be sacrificing anything on the glass.

Exactly. I love that we can go small to be quicker and make more shots around the perimeter and lose NOTHING in rebounding and rim protection. We didn’t have that luxury last season…. We can also go big and be lockdown defensively
