The common theme that I see is they live very empty lives, and probably have some form of autism. They are also incapable of feeling shame, and probably make a fraction of what they claim.
I went to high school with a ton of realtors apparently, I really enjoy their little 'market update' videos. Wow Shannon you've been selling real estate for 3 months and really have things figured out. I always find myself impressed.

They most recently were a SAHM, sold tickets for the local minor league team, or maybe was a painter or someting. Could have worked PT in a boutique clothing store.
Now?
In the past 90 days they've passed a realtor exam or whatever and provide very valuable market insights on real estate trends, rates, etc. And somehow, over the course of time (if they last), it will crescendo into THE BEST TIME TO BUY AND/OR SELL A HOME IS RIGHT NOW!
Also, "I'm hearing rates are about to (increase or decrease)". Like they've got some kinda private line to the feds they can check each day.

My favorite ones are where they're sitting at a desk moving papers from one pile to another while giving their valuable real estate tips. It takes a certain lack of self awareness to shamelessly go from being a supposed makeup expert to real estate expert over the course of 2 weeks.

bought a home to live in, nor have they sold a home they've owned. They don't have a college degree and certainly don't watch the news, let alone study/monitor/research real estate related stuff.
They don't even know shid about loans. They just know someone.
The whole commissions changes coming will cull a BUNCH of them. I've never understood how the market would continue to agree to pay a percentage of the sale to a realtor.
You mean me selling my $300k home across the street from you selling your $400k home warrants your realtor(s) to split an additional $6k in commish? C'mon bro. Same transaction.

At closing I told my realtor that SOMEBODY in the room (and pointed at the buyer's realtor) owed us both a lunch downtown. She smirked, grabbed her check and walked out.

There are about 5-10 of them just like him on youtube. And then there's the "I'M AN ELITE SALES WARRIOR!!" dude that seems to have a pretty big following.
