That coach Swinney is hurting the team by refusing to use the portal. I think that the problem is … he hasn’t been able to bring in another Lawrence or Watson or Boyd in recent years. Kelly and DJ and Klubnik just aren’t National Championship material . IF a big time QB was available in the portal I believe the coach would pursue him. Has there been a Watson available ?!The best way to end this kind of criticism and to shut the great Baldino up Is to kick the Bulldogs #### on opening day. Do It Dabo!

I tend to agree... generational QBs are just as the name implies. We were lucky enough to get 2 back to back. It could be a while before we get another one. That it why I'm still loving the 9, 10, and 11 win seasons.

You would be wrong thinking Dabo would pursue a big time QB. There have been good qb’s available. Dabo is dying with Cade

The largest issue was addressed. OL coach. Probably should have been replaced before Streeter was let go. IMO, this will be the decision year for WR coach.

Exactly. At some point the “they have to want to be here” becomes a cop out and I believe it already is. Think Clemson was on Deshaun’s radar from the get go? The answer is no.

Dabo is not dying with Cade, Cade is just who we have. We are like every team and try to have the top QB's visit each year and Cade was a top QB. The focus is always on the QB but we have not been able to sign really good RBs, WRs and OL guys. It is a team game, not a QB game, and until we can improve our running game, we will be looking at years with 10-11 wins and there is nothing wrong with that.

He has said that same thing, he said that it would be very hard to find a portal player that could come in and beat out any starter that we have unless it was a player searching for bigger NIL deals, and they won't find that at Clemson. I say that he should never take a portal transfer only bc outsiders say that he should. If he can't bring in a portal guy as good or better than he already has with the very same NIL cost, then he should leave them in the portal. It isn't Dabo's or Clemson's responsibility to help thin out the transfer portal. The NCAA created the overflow problem, so let them come up with a way to fix it. In no way did Dabo or Clemson create that problem, and Clemson can't fix it, so screw-um, screw them all!!!

The QBs do not develop at all without Jeff Scott's offense and WR production
5 Star QBs are told not to come to Clemson now because they lack development ability

I don't believe that it takes a DW4 or Lawerence style QB to win championships if the offense has the studs to give a QB like Klubnik and Kelly the time they need without them having to make their time the way that DW4 and Lawerence did. But in our system, I don't see DJ winning it all at Clemson even with studs on the offensive line...

Klubnik is good enough to win a National Title at Clemson. Look back at Ohio State in 2002 with Krenzel
at OB. They beat a great Miami team. That guy was at best a C-plus QB, but he had Maurice Clarett at RB. Clemson's defense will be one of best in college football in 2024, and Klubnik has a full year of experience with Riley. Now, Garrett is NOT Lincoln by any stretch, but he did lead a TCU 5th year QB to the National Title game. All that being said, I'm going to predict a 38-10 shocker over Georgia to start the season. Paul Finebaum will need to on lay on the coach with a therapist after prophesying Dabo's demise just a few days ago.
