Gave up a 10 point lead. Not over yet.
But win or lose i doubt Iowa fans will blame Caitlin or their coach. Only tigernet Brad Brownell haters would blame a coach for a narrow victory, especially when underdogs. Iowa is not an underdog.

WV turned the game into a slugfest. Smart on their part.

and why it's a joke of a 'sport'. Rules really aren't enforced by the 'refs'.

Hate to hear! But as long as SOMEBODY can beat the coot wimmenz’s, it doesn’t have to be Iowa….
I tried watching a little of the game with Iowa up 26-24, but switched to the Portugal Grand Prix motorcycle race. As a rider myself, something mesmerizing and terrifying all at the same time watching a guy going 100 mph through a sweeping turn with the bike so flat his knee is mere inches from the pavement… then accelerate to 175 in the straightaways. Damb!

Quite a tortured stretch to connect Iowa women's basketball to Coach Brownell but you obviously have an agenda to promote.

Not a stretch at all.
In fact, one might say it was worse for Iowa. Iowa was a heavy favorite, unlike Clemson. Iowa did not play great during any stretch of the game, unlike Clemson who played great for long stretches. Yet, the narrative is "survive and advance" and "ugly win is better than a pretty win". So different from the Tigernet narrative about Clemson and its coach. Shame on you, Brownell haters!

First, nobody hates Coach Brownell. All want what is best for Clemson University. There are just differences of opinion on how to achieve that. Some think the body of work over 14 years support a change, others do not. I certainly appreciate what Coach Brownell has done for Clemson University, including the culture he has instilled, the quality of student athletes, running a clean program, graduating players, representing the University well, among others. I think we all wish we had more success the last decade and a half. I am not defending one side or the other, as I see merits in both camps.
Second, I don't know what insight you have into the pulse of Iowa women's basketball fan base. It felt tortured for you to surmise how they would have reacted to a loss (they won by 10) and then used that so say how much better it would have been than Clemson fans on TigerNet. If you want to shame those that who want a change in leadership, go for it without using a women's basketball game in Iowa as the pretense.
Last, if Clemson "struggles" to a 10 point win the NCAA Tournament game, I think almost all Clemson fans would be ecstatic. Have a great night.
Go Tigers!

Clemson won by 8 due to free throws down the stretch. Iowa win by 10 points due to free throws down the stretch.
Very similar. And I thought WVs last 2 point shot was before the final buzzer, which would have made it an 8 point margin - identical to our game. Just say'n. Very similar. Both games had double digit leads evaporate in final minutes, only to return to 8 or 10 point lead in the final minute due to free throws
